At Fairway School, we are always looking forward. We want the very best for every child and member of staff, which means we never stand still. A School Improvement Plan (SIP) helps us to set clear priorities for the year ahead so that we can keep moving from strength to strength.
Our SIP is not just a document; it is a promise that we will keep building on what we do well and always strive to be even better. It keeps us focused on the things that matter most: excellent teaching, happy and confident children, and a nurturing environment where everyone can be inspired to succeed.
Why We Have a School Improvement Plan
Clarity and Focus – it helps us identify what we need to work on so that every decision benefits our children.
High Expectations – it sets ambitious goals, making sure we don’t settle for “good enough” but keep aiming higher.
Partnership – it allows us to share our vision with parents and the wider community, so we can all work together in support of our children.
Accountability – it shows how we are making progress and ensures we celebrate our successes along the way.

How We Monitor Our Plan
Our leadership team regularly reviews progress against each priority, checking what is working well and where we can make further improvements.
Governors play a vital role too. They meet with school leaders, ask challenging questions, and visit the school to see the impact of our work. This partnership ensures that our plan is not only ambitious but also realistic and effective. By monitoring our SIP closely, we make sure that every step we take brings us closer to providing the very best possible education for our children.
